About us
West One are a totally independent firm of Chartered Building Surveyors with many years experience in all matters surveying across commercial and residential properties.
Independence is at our core, without it we do not believe we could offer the service we do to clients. Independence enables us to put our clients interests first without hidden agendas or needing to juggle the interest and wants of different parties at the same time.

History
West One commenced trading in April 2011 with the single aim of providing unparalleled professional advice for our clients.
West One is headed by Neil Lofting, a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 30 years of experience.
Having worked with various firms, Neil grew tired of not being able to provide the service that clients deserve:
So West One was born, completely independent and here to service our clients needs, no one else’s.

From the smallest of Acorns
From our London base, we cover the the whole of the South East on a day to day basis, and are happy to look at any project nationally. We aim to be the company of choice for clients and other independent loss assessors, loss adjusters and brokers that desire detailed professional advice on reinstatement projects.
We will achieve this by continuing to provide a prompt, accurate and professional service to our clients. As we are very quickly learning, once a client instructs us to undertake a project, they will frequently instruct us again and again.
We also actively seek feed back from clients, both good and bad. This gives us the drive to push forward and if needs be, look at how we can further develop our services to new and existing clients.
